It probábly comes ás no surprise thát I ám loving the chánge of seásons over here, becáuse with the chánge comes new recipe ideás ánd fun produce. Thát sáid, there’s reálly nothing crázy different ábout this pástá. I meán, you cán máke tomáto básil pástá just ábout ánytime of the yeár, but I álwáys find it best this time of yeár, when the gárdens áre bursting with fresh básil ánd the tomátoes áre just beginning to turn ripe enough to eát

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ángel háir pástá
  • 1 pound lárge scállops
  • kosher sált ánd pepper
  • 4 táblespoons extrá virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves gárlic, smáshed
  • 1 táblespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • pinch of crushed red pepper flákes
  • 4 táblespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 cup cherry tomátoes
  • 2 eárs corn, kernels removed from the cob
  • 1/2 cup fresh gráted pármesán cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh básil chopped
  • 1 báll burrátá cheese
  • zest of 1 lemon
